Liability Waiver and Release of Claims

In consideration of Berkeley Table Tennis Club, also known as BTTC ("the Club"), providing me the opportunity to play table tennis and participate in club activities, I hereby agree to the following terms:

  1. Release of Claims: I hereby covenant and agree not to bring any legal action, whether legal or equitable, or make any claim of any nature whatsoever against BTTC, including its officers, agents, volunteers, club members, and any other persons involved with club activities, either directly or indirectly, for any personal injury or injuries (including death) or property damage which I or others might sustain while engaging in club activities.
  2. Discharge of Liability: I hereby release and discharge BTTC, its officers, agents, volunteers, members, representatives, and any other persons involved with club activities from any responsibility or liability to me for any personal injuries, health issues, or property damage which I may suffer or incur, either directly or indirectly, as a result of my participation in club activities.
  3. Voluntary Assumption of Risk: I make these covenants, releases, and waivers knowingly and voluntarily with full knowledge and understanding of the existing dangers inherent in training, practicing, playing table tennis, traveling to and from the facility, and engaging in any other club activities. I expressly and voluntarily assume all such risks.
  4. Indemnification: I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless BTTC, its officers, agents, volunteers, members, and any other persons involved with club activities from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from any personal injury or injuries (including death) or property damage which I or others might sustain while I am engaging in club activities.
  5. Binding Agreement: I execute this release and waiver with the intent that it be legally binding, and I do so on behalf of myself and my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns.
Important Notice: By checking the waiver acceptance box during registration, you are providing your electronic signature and agreeing to all terms above. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept this waiver on your behalf.
